These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and URBANaire Matrimony (“URBANaire”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of our website and matchmaking services (together, the “Platform”).
By registering an account, creating a profile, purchasing a membership or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Platform.
Your use of the Platform is subject to these Terms and to any policies, notices or guidelines we publish on the Platform from time to time, all of which are incorporated here by reference.
You accept these Terms when you do any of the following:
If you are creating a profile on behalf of another person, such as your son, daughter, brother, sister or a relative, you confirm that you have their consent to do so and that you accept these Terms on their behalf as well as your own.
URBANaire Matrimony exists for one purpose only: to help individuals and families find a suitable partner for marriage. Membership is available to you only if you meet all of the conditions below.
Married persons may not register. If you are currently married, you may not create a profile seeking another partner. Any such profile will be removed permanently without refund, and we may report the matter to the appropriate authorities.
Registration on URBANaire Matrimony is free. You must provide accurate, current and complete information when you register, and keep it updated throughout your membership.
We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your login credentials.
Trust is the foundation of our community. Every profile submitted to URBANaire Matrimony goes through a verification review by our team, which typically takes 24 to 48 hours, before it is made visible to other members.
Verification may include checks on your identity through a government-issued photo ID, along with a review of the education, profession, marital status and family details you have declared. By submitting your profile, you consent to these checks.
You remain solely responsible for the content of your profile. Please independently satisfy yourself and your family about any prospective match before taking the alliance forward.
Photographs help families connect with your profile, and you stay in control of them at all times.
By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize and display that content on the Platform for the purpose of providing our matchmaking services to you. This licence ends when the content is deleted from your profile, except where we must retain a copy to meet a legal obligation.
Never misuse another member’s photographs. Copying, downloading, saving, forwarding or publishing another member’s photos or personal details outside the Platform is strictly prohibited and may attract legal action.
Creating a profile is free. To view complete profiles with contact details, express interests and chat directly with your matches, you need our Gold membership.
We will never ask you to transfer money to an individual’s personal account, and no member of our team will ever ask you for your password or your payment OTP. Please pay only through the options shown inside your account.
The Gold membership unlocks access to our verified member network immediately on activation. Because that access is delivered at once and cannot be returned, membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, whether or not you use the features available to you.
We will, however, always act fairly. A refund will be considered where:
Write to info@urbanairematrimony.com within 7 days of the transaction, quoting your payment reference. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, usually within 7 to 10 working days, subject to your bank’s processing time.
No refund is payable where an account is suspended or removed for a breach of these Terms. Our full Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out these rules in detail and forms part of these Terms.
URBANaire Matrimony is a community of families. We expect every member to behave with the same respect they would show in person.
You must not, directly or through anyone else, do any of the following on or through the Platform:
A breach of this section may lead to immediate suspension or permanent removal of your account without refund, and we may share information with law enforcement where the law requires it.
Privacy is one of our core values. We collect and use your information only to verify your profile, operate the matchmaking service, process your payments, provide support and meet our legal obligations. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full and forms part of these Terms.
Expressing an interest is an invitation, not an agreement. A conversation begins only when the other member accepts, and either of you may stop it at any time.
URBANaire Matrimony is an introduction and matchmaking platform. We provide the tools, verification and guidance that help suitable people find each other. The decision to meet, to proceed with an alliance and to marry is entirely yours and your family’s.
Please carry out your own due diligence, including verifying identity, family, employment and health records, before finalising any matrimonial alliance.
Our verification process removes most of the risk, but your own caution remains your best protection.
The URBANaire Matrimony name, logo, tagline, website design, text, graphics, layout, software and all other material on the Platform are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
You may use the Platform only for your personal matrimonial search. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.
You may deactivate or delete your profile at any time from your account dashboard, or by writing to our support team.
We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access, with or without notice, if:
Where an account is terminated for a breach of these Terms, no refund of any membership fee is payable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, liability, indemnity and governing law, continue to apply.
The Platform relies on trusted third parties, including our payment gateway, hosting provider and communication services, and may link to partners such as wedding planners, photographers or astrologers.
These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing or conduct, and any dealing you have with them is at your own discretion and risk.
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work hard to keep it accurate, secure and running smoothly, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of every inaccuracy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, URBANaire Matrimony, its owners, directors, employees and partners shall not be liable for:
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the membership fee you actually paid to us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless URBANaire Matrimony, its owners, employees and partners against any claim, demand, loss, damage, cost or legal expense arising out of your use of the Platform, the information you have submitted, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of the rights of another person.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, our practices or the law. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the “Last Updated” date above will tell you when that happened.
Where a change is significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email or through a notice on the Platform. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the revised Terms, so please review this page from time to time.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. We encourage you to contact us first, as most concerns are resolved quickly and amicably by our support team.
If you have a complaint about content, conduct or any aspect of the Platform, please write to our Grievance Officer with your registered email address, your profile details and a clear description of the issue.
We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days of receipt, in line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules.
